What was the scope of the project?
The scope of this project was to make a product that our
group came up with and advertise it and try to make it as it’s a real product
and we are trying to sell it to customers. We made a graphic design, animation,
website, advertisement video, and a coupon. We were all assigned jobs between
the 5 of us to collaborate the best ideas for all 5 of the jobs we were
assigned.
What was the process?
Our process was starting with coming up with a product and
then voting between the 5 of us to see which product is the most creative, which
was the Soundproof Shower created by Adam. Next we had to write down what we
were all thinking about on doing for the 5 roles and then we voted between
everyone and then we were assigned the roles that we did the best on. Next we decided to come up with how it will
look, packaging, how much it will cost, and the whole set up. Next we made a storyboard
on how we wanted to act out our roles on the advertisement video and what we
wanted to say during the video.
What did I learned along the way?
Along the way I learned how to work with big group and resolve
complications along the way. I also learned more about final cut pro and how to
add voice-overs so that you can have your video with the voice or an instructor
talking about the product.
What I would do differently?
What I would do different is be more help to when other had
questions but I didn’t have that much time to help because I was always behind
on what my role was for the class, because I was never keeping track on how
much time I had and then I had to rush to get it finished, while trying to do
my best. If I was more time consistent I would have been more help to my group
for when they had questions or help on other task.
What would I do the same?
What I would do the same is keeping my task because I think
they came out really good and getting them to all bind together with my groups
items that they were doing. I think that
our group did really good with communicating with each other and telling each
other our opinions on what they thought on everyone’s role in making our
product look professional.
What will I draw from this experience to enhance next project?
What I will draw from this experience to enhance the next
project is by taking new skills that I have learned from this project to help
me on my next one, with final cut pro, adobe Dreamweaver and sketch up. I have learned
new techniques and ideas on how to brainstorm and come up with new ideas that
will help me with my next project.
Thoughts?
I thought this project was really fun and a cool idea on
seeing how we can explore from different perspectives, and have free
imagination on what we want to do for our project. My only concern was that at
the beginning of the assignment I had no clue what we were doing and what we
had to do, but by the middle I was all caught up. (:
